The Sustainable Water Network (SWAN) is an umbrella network of 25 of Ireland’s leading environmental NGOs, national and regional, working together to protect and enhance Ireland’s water environment.
SWAN’s work is led by the SWAN Coordinator who works with a small staff team and the wider SWAN membership to deliver SWAN’s work in the areas of policy and advocacy; member support and coordination; communications and awareness raising; governance and administration.
SWAN’s work is guided by SWAN’s Board of Directors which includes representatives from SWAN member organisations.
The Sustainable Water Network (SWAN) is funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
